My name is Rae and I am a lover of basketball, an aspiring globetrotter (not-Harlem), and a daughter, granddaughter, niece and friend of folks who are fighting and who have bravely fought the longstanding battle with cancer.
Growing up, my basketball coaches told me to "count the makes, not the misses."
I want to try to make a difference by engaging our global community and fundraising for groups who are making tangible progress in the health and happiness of the people in this world.
Join me as I travel the globe making a three-pointer at each destination to raise money for the 5 For The Fight campaign in an effort to give back, cure an unforgiving disease, and bring folks a little closer together.
I will be donating $50 for each shot I make to 5 for the Fight, and I invite you to pledge to donate per shot or make a one time donation to the cause.
No proceeds go to me, 100% go to groundbreaking cancer research.
